That’s right, we are coming up on the 4th annual Portraits for Missions! Portraits for Missions is a portrait event we do each spring to help raise money for missions. The dates this year are February 6th, 12th, and 13th. Yesterday as I rummaged around my house (still unpacking!), I heard a melody that sounded so familiar yet so foreign… “Home for Christmas” was floating to my ears from the office where Lukas was apparently feeling Christmasy. To my astonishment I realized Christmas is right around the corner!

It seems that every year Christmas sneaks up on me and my Christmas cards and out of state presents to family are mailed too late. But now married to an on-top-of-everything man, I am resolved to be on top of things this year! =) And with that, to help YOU get your Christmas cards out on time, we are doing a Christmas card portrait event at our house! Ok, we’re also doing it because it will be a ton of fun. Complete with hot chocolate, apple cider, sugar cookies, and Christmas music! The dates are Nov. 27th & 28th.
